Professor Shiyang Pan is doctoral supervisor, chief physician, and researcher scientist. He currently serves as the academic leader of the Department of Laboratory Medicine and the School of Laboratory Medicine at the First Hospital Affiliated with Nanjing Medical University (Jiangsu Province People's Hospital). He discovered and named a new tumor marker: tumor specific protein 70 (SP70), and established multiple diagnostic technologies and clinical molecular tests. In 2023, he was awarded the title of "National Famous Doctor (Outstanding Achievement)".
